Late last year Groves, who PopCrush named one of their “Artist to Watch in 2012” teamed with BUZZMEDIA to premiere the music video for “This Little Girl” which features a cameo from Blake Shelton.
Signed to RCA Records last year, 22 year-old Groves, has been in the studio writing and recording songs for her debut album which is due out later in 2012.

Lady Gaga announced dates today for her Born This Way Ball tour in Southeast Asia/Australia and those shows will be followed by the rest of the world including dates in Europe, Latin America and North America.

Gaga has leaked news about the tour on Twitter, including the unveiling of a bizarre poster that portrays the ball as a campy, medieval-meets-the-80′s kingdom. See above.

Also on Feb. 7 Gaga unveiled a sketch of what the star calls ‘The Monster Pit,’ a general admission area she says “Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium.” That area is reserved for fans “who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to ‘Ball.’”

The tour’s first leg will hit Southeast Asia and Japan through early June, encompassing 15 shows at stadiums and arenas. Gaga will then play about 15 shows in Australia, ending in July. Beyond that, current plans call for her to tour Europe in August, followed by Latin America towards the end of the year, and then North America in Q1 2013, beginning in January and running into March.

“The ‘Born This Way Ball’ will perform 110 shows around the world,” she announced on Wednesday afternoon.

“The last tour established her as a major act worldwide and I believe this tour will be an extension of that, particularly considering we’re going to territories she’s never been in, like Southeast Asia and Latin America,” Fogel told Billboard.

Gaga has posted a photo, showing 11 tour dates, on Twitter. More coming soon.

The album—which will be released tomorrow, February 7, on EMI’s Astralwerks Records—is an expanded version of their score for the stunning new color restoration of the classic 1902 short film Le Voyage Dans La Lune by the pioneering filmmaker Georges Méliès. Band members Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel recently spoke to NPR All Things Considered about the project, whichEntertainment Weekly called “a breathtaking fusion of music and moving image.”

A “Méliès Moment” has undoubtedly arrived in the U.S. 110 years after the creation of his masterpiece. In addition to the release of AIR’s album, there are now theatrical screenings of the Le Voyage Dans La Lune (along with a documentary about its restoration called The Extraordinary Voyage) that will be shown in select cities across the country over the coming months (see details below) with more to follow. Most telling are the numerous Oscar nominations bestowed upon Martin Scorsese’s new film Hugo, which features Méliès as a central character (played by Ben Kingsley) and imagery inspired by Le Voyage Dans La Lune.

Astralwerks will release special Limited Edition versions of AIR’s album (CD+DVD and Digital Download) featuring the fully restored colorized film with AIR’s original film score as bonus content. The seven shows include the historic return to The Ritz (now Webster Hall), 24 years after the filming of their heralded “Live At The Ritz,” where GN’R are reclaiming the venue for one night only. Complete list of dates below.

Ticket presale for the February 21st date is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00am ET. The public on-sale is Wednesday, February 8. For more information on tickets and VIP packages please visit gunsnroses.com.

Celebrated worldwide as one of the most important rock acts in musical history, Guns N’ Roses are Axl Rose, DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums). Founder Axl Rose started Guns N’ Roses over 25 years ago and since that time, they have become one of the biggest bands in music history, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide. GN’R’s major-label debut, “Appetite For Destruction,” has sold over 28 million albums in the United States alone. The ground-breaking album changed the course of music with such classic hits as “Welcome The Jungle,” “Paradise City,” and the chart-topping single, “Sweet Child of Mine.” The band’s third studio release, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, was the first double album release in history to nab both the top spots on the Billboard chart and went on to remain on the charts for more than 108 weeks while the band spent more than 2 years on the road to support. The ‘Illusion’ releases found the band charting new territory in the video arena with the theatrical trilogy, “November Rain,” “Don’t Cry” and “Estranged.” The band’s most recent release, Chinese Democracy (Black Frog/Geffen Records), released in November 2008 and debuted #1 on the charts in thirteen countries, going platinum in 15 countries! Guns N’ Roses have just returned from their sold-out global 2011 arena tour, with more than 30 shows in the US, visits to Latin America and multiple festivals, having played to millions of fans around the globe.

The North American tour comes in support of Jeezy’s brand new album, TM:103 ‘HUSTLERZ AMBITION’. Released December 20th to a #1 debut on iTunes, TM:103 sold a massive 233K in its first week and has just been certified GOLD by the RIAA. The 5-week, 25-city tour of the U.S. and Canada wraps up April 6th at the Olympia Theatre in Montreal. (Please see complete itinerary below.)

Nearly three years in the making, TM:103 ‘HUSTLERZ AMBITION’ is the album that Jeezy’s millions of fans have been awaiting far too long. The album release date on December 20th was celebrated with a special, sold-out performance by Jeezy at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, presented by Def Jam, CTE and New York’s home of hip-hop, HOT 97 FM.

Critical raves greeted the release of TM:103, as The Source wrote: “Jeezy is still a proud denizen of the Atlanta trap… Fame is isolating, and Jeezy is keenly aware in these moments, cognizant of the stacked expectations for TM:103 from fans and haters alike. Self-fulfilling prophecy meets the realest shit indeed.” XXL gave the album an ‘XL’ rating, hailing it as “an emphatic re-emergence, carrying a feeling of revival from 2005’s Let’s Get It, sprinkled with moments of growth and realization… Offering the fire of TM:101, the rollick-and-celebration of TM:102, and rowdiness of The Recession, Snow’s fourth studio album is indeed a win.”

The first single from TM:103, “I Do” featuring Jay-Z and André 3000 of OutKast, has blasted up the Urban and Rhythm charts, while the street banger “Supafreak,” featuring 2 Chainz, has started making serious noise in the clubs and mixshows. The next single on deck is “Leave You Alone” featuring Ne-Yo. The duo plan to support the single with several national television performances.

In advance of TM:103’s release, Hustlerz Ambition aired on MTV2 and VEVO. The two-disc CD+DVD deluxe edition of TM:103 contains the uncut version of the film, the most revealing and honest and graphic portrayal of Jeezy to date. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, directed by Chris Robinson, and produced by Cossette Productions (known for their work on the Grammy Awards telecasts), this extraordinary documentary is a must-have for every Young Jeezy fan.

TM:103, Jeezy’s fourth Def Jam/CTE studio album, follows-up The Recession (September 2008), his second consecutive #1 Sound¬scan debut (after 2006’s The Inspiration). The Recession went straight to #1 at iTunes, and spun off a string of hit singles starting with “Put On” featuring Kanye West, #1 Rap and #1 R&B, and a #12 pop hit as well. The Grammy-nominated song was the second-highest charting Hot 100 hit of Jeezy’s career, and was also nominated for the People’s Champ Award at the BET Awards in October 2008.

Fans of Adelitas Way have a chance to get up close and personal with the band this year- as they’ll offer VIP packages and meet & greet opportunities along the way, further details can be found here: http://adelitaswaymusic.com

Adelitas Way are no strangers to life on the road having toured with- Theory of A Deadman, Black Stone Cherry, and Emphatic amongst others, but, their most unforgettable gig came at the end of 2011. Guns N’ Roses came calling and Adelitas Way was there to deliver. Playing two sold-out arena shows, the band was invited back for a third time on New Year’s Eve. Lead singer Rick DeJesus was in shock as he explained, “Since I was a kid it’s always been a dream to open up for Guns N’ Roses…”

In 2011, Adelitas Way released two hit singles from their sophomore album Home School Valedictorian. The group now prepares to take its third single, power ballad, “Alive” to radio this spring. “The Collapse” follows previous single “Sick” which during its 27 weeks on the charts, rose to No. 1 at Active Rock and has over a million and a half hits on YouTube all thanks to the group’s huge fan-base, which continues to grow due to “incredible songwriting, and an amazing work ethic,” as Hails and Horns magazine raved in a recent feature on the band.

When it came to this year’s NFL playoffs Adelitas Way again stepped up, playing at the at the AFC Championship game at Foxboro Stadium, which lead the New England Patriots to a spot in this year’s Super bowl. Adelitas Way is Rick DeJesus, vocals; Keith Wallen, guitar; Derek Johnston, bass; Trevor Stafford, drums

The tour kicks off on April 4th in Portland, ME, and visits more than 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up with a hometown show at Atlanta’s Masquerade Music Park on May 12th. These shows will feature an amazing night of powerful music featuring a dream bill with Swedish metal band Opeth as co-headliners, with special guest Ghost providing support on all dates. Collectively Mastodon has stated: “We’re excited to co-headline this tour with Opeth for whom we have great respect and admiration. Having Ghost along as well will make this tour a special event.” Tickets go on sale February 3rd and 4th. Visit www.mastodonrocks.com for details. There will be a Fan Presale scheduled to begin at 3pm local venue time on Wednesday, February 1stavailable only at www.mastodonrocks.com

Mastodon have recently posted a very special video for their new single “Dry Bone Valley,” created by noted fine artist Tim Biskup, a long-time friend who has amassed a cadre of loyal fans and collectors of his painting and sculpture. Watch the new video here.

“Dry Bone Valley” is the second single from Mastodon’s critically acclaimed album The Hunter, which found its way onto several Year End/Best Of critics’ lists, including those compiled by Rolling Stone, Spin, Revolver, Decibel and many more.

Released on September 27th, The Hunter entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart in the Top 10. The first single, “Curl of the Burl,” has been nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.” Radio play for the track brought even Mastodon to the attention of the mainstream masses by rocketing into the Top 15 of the Billboard charts resulting in their greatest radio presence to date. By comparison, “Dry Bone Valley” is already accelerating with more immediate impact on radio waves. The press also continues to pledge their commitment:

“Mastodon exists as one of the most crucial and challenging acts working today.” – The Los Angeles Times

“Zeus be praised! Mastodon streamlined their molten thrash into a taut thwump that doesn’t pull back one bit on their natural complexity of innate weirdness.” – Rolling Stone’s Best of 2011

Mastodon is currently immersed in an extensive tour of Europe and Australia. At the conclusion of the tour, Mastodon will fly directly to Los Angels to attend the Grammys as “Curl Of The Burl” has captured a nomination for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.” Have a look at the official video for “Curl Of The Burl” here. The 54th Grammy Awards Show will take place in Los Angeles on February 12th and be broadcast on CBS stations.
