The album, which debuted at #41 on the Billboard “Top 200 Albums” chart, has already produced a hit single with “All You Did Was Save My Life,” thanks to heavy rotation at four different formats: Alternative, Top 40, Triple A and Active. The video stars fellow Canadian, Shenae Grimes, of “90210″ and “Degrassi: The Next Generation” fame.

“The End Is Where We Begin” is the second single is now being serviced to radio and has recently been added to stations nationwide including KDGE/Dallas, KTBZ/Houston, WKRK/Cleveland, KRBZ/Kansas City, WPBZ/West Palm Beach and WGRD/Grand Rapids. A video for the song will make its premiere in the next couple of weeks.

Primarily self-produced in lead singer Raine Maida’s Los Angeles home studio, BURN BURN marks the longest period between studio albums for Our Lady Peace. It also signifies a sonic and philosophical rebirth. The band now enjoys a creative and professional freedom that they haven’t experienced since the release of their now classic debut. “I think about the way we made NAVEED,” Maida recalls. “We were just starting, we knew nothing about the business and we had no expectations. It was four guys in a room just trusting their instincts. We went back to that. ‘Liberating’ doesn’t really even sum it up.”

BURN BURN is a triumphant return to what Maida terms “a proper, mature rock album,” steeped in the kind of raw intensity that drove their early material. Blinding rays of anthemic light make way to the tender poise and precision of a band that was looking for a way out and found a satisfying new way in.

Our Lady Peace’s live show is as good as it’s ever been and was on display during July’s sold-out shows in New York City and Los Angeles that had Billboard gushing, “OLP proved their readiness as arena-worthy superstars during the opening night of the Canadian act’s U.S. tour.” The performance in Los Angeles left the Troubadour none-too-pleased with the damage OLP incurred. Maida victoriously climbed up to walls to the second floor during “All You Did Was Save My Life,” leaving a heap of destruction in his wake. Our Lady Peace, the Canadian rock band consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jeremy Taggart and Steve Mazur will release their 7th studio album on July 21st, 2009. Burn Burn will be released in the U.S. through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group. Burn Burn will be released as a standard 10 track CD as well as a Deluxe two disc CD/DVD fanpack with bonus tracks, music videos and exclusive studio footage. The band will be playing US shows this summer including July 21st at Irving Plaza in NYC and July 28th at the Troubadour in LA.

“Burn Burn” marks the first studio album from Our Lady Peace since 2005. Self produced by the band and recorded at Raine’s home studio in Los Angeles, Burn Burn marks a return to the hard driving rock songs the band displayed on their breakthrough debut release, Naveed. As Raine explains, “We’ve come full circle and the music is just stripped down, full of raw energy. In addition to their six full studio albums, which all surpassed Platinum sales status in Canada, Our Lady Peace released a live CD/DVD in 2003 and a hits collection in 2006, compiling a decade of their chat-topping singles and featuring two new tracks. Throughout their career, the band has sold over five million albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards (Canadian Grammy’s), and won ten Much Music Video Awards – one of the most awarded bands in MMVA history. They’ve shared the stage with Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Faith No More, The Ramones, Goo Goo Dolls, No Doubt, Stone Temple Pilots, Alanis Morissette and Blur among others. Of their live show Billboard Magazine said ““OLP proved their readiness as arena-worthy superstars during the opening night of the Canadian act’s U.S. tour.”

Our Lady Peace will hit the road across North America in support this summer. More details on touring plans to be announced in the coming weeks. The first single “All You Did Was Save My Life” hits Rock radio at the end of May and iTunes on June 9th. The video, directed by Scott Weintrob who has previously collaborated with the band on two other videos, features 90210 star Shenae Grimes.
