Virgin Records rock quintet Saving Abel’s winning streak continues as they gear up for one of this Summer’s hottest rock tours. The band are set to hit the road with Papa Roach, Hinder and Nickelback beginning July 10.

Saving Abel’s third single & video, “Drowning (Face Down),” has raced it’s way into the Top 5 at Rock radio this week and the video recently debuted on MTV2 and Yahoo! Music (music.yahoo.com). The band’s self-titled debut album was recently certified gold by the RIAA. The platinum single “Addicted” had an extraordinary run as 2008′s most-played song at active rock radio, with 11 consecutive weeks at No. 2 in the format, and a No. 1 posting at mainstream rock radio and No. 7 at alternative. The song also had a powerful, months-long afterburn on mainstream Top 40 and Hot AC radio, hitting the top 10 in both formats. The follow-up ballad, honoring our nation’s troops, “18 Days,” is a top 5 hit at active rock, top 10 at alternative radio. “Drowning (Face Down)” continues to rocket up the charts at both active rock radio, currently at #5 and alternative radio where it is in the top 25. Saving Abel is currently on the road playing some shows with Shinedown before returning to arenas with rock giants Nickelback . Saving Abel’s 18 Days Tour Ep which features an acoustic version of “18 Days” and two b-sides is available now exclusively at iTunes.

About Saving Abel:
Saving Abel – named after the Biblical sibling of Cain – was formed by Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null in 2004 in their hometown of Corinth, Mississippi. Now based in Memphis, Tennessee, the band’s lineup includes guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor and drummer Blake Dixon. Combining influences of southern rock, hard rock and alternative music, the band was first heard on a 2005 EP, produced by Skidd Mills (12 Stones, Saliva, Submersed). Since the March, 2008 release of their self titled debut, Saving Abel has earned 3 top 10 singles at active and alternative rock radio, a top 10 hit at top 40 radio, a gold record, platinum single and has toured with such bands as Nickelback, Buckcherry, Seether, Avenged Sevenfold, Puddle of Mudd and more.

Hot on the heels of ultra-successful runs with Theory of a Deadman, Seether and the Puddle of Mudd Tour, Nashville favorites SafetySuit will grace the stage alongside multi-platinum artists 3 Doors Down and Hinder for what is poised to be one of the biggest rock tours of 2009. They’ll be kicking off a month long run on January 22nd in Reading, Pennsylvania.
[futureusgallerycaption id="attachment_6575" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="SafetySuit"]
Nearly a year after their debut single “Someone Like You” hit airwaves SafetySuit have garnered critical acclaim and widespread appeal. “Someone Like You” broke through the Hot A/C Top 30 and Alternative Top 15, while the accompanying music video is steadily climbing the VH1 charts-hitting #8 on the Top 20 Countdown week of 12/22. Their second single “Stay” will be impacting at Top 40 and Hot A/C in February.

“SafetySuit is a fantastic artist development story,” said Universal Motown President Sylvia Rhone. “They’ve built up a passionate grassroots following through constant touring, while our team has been working for the past year to seed their music across multiple platforms. They’re a great band with a long career ahead of them, and it’s gratifying to see everything coming together so beautifully.” To date four tracks from their debut album Life Left To Go, including “Someone Like You”, have been featured on the hit MTV reality show “The Hills”. The resulting sales increase is staggering; both mobile and digital track sales are up 1000% and full album sales are up 25%.

Mötley Crüe announced today plans for their Saints of Los Angeles 2009 Winter Tour, hours before headlining a special one off performance at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The Live Nation produced, Saints of Los Angeles 2009 Tour, will feature special guests — Hinder, Theory of a Deadman and The Last Vegas. The tour kicks off February 2nd in San Diego, CA with 29 shows throughout North America, including a date at Madison Square Garden, with the final performance on March 18th in Portland, ME. Tickets go on sale beginning November 21st at www.livenation.com and www.motley.com.

American Express Card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Friday, November 14 at 5pm local time through Thursday, November 20 at 10pm local time via www.motley.com.

“It’s great to go back out on a tour like this where the bands are all about returning rock to the forefront of music today,” says Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe. “On top of it, we get to introduce a new band who jumped the line to arenas through the Guitar Center: On Stage contest. Just like Ozzy gave us a chance and took us on tour at the start of our career, we’re looking forward to taking The Last Vegas on the road and giving them the same opportunity.”

Hinder front man Austin Winkler said, “Mötley Crüe is a massive influence on us, and an inspiration on so many levels for what we do! Mick even played on the title track for our new album. It will be an honor and privilege for us to tour with one of the greatest rock bands ever! And we can’t wait to party our asses off with them!”

“We are so pumped to be a part of what I think will be the biggest and most bad ass tour of 2009. Three kick ass bands on one bill, not to mention how honored we are to play with one of the best rock n roll bands of all f#@%kn time, Mötley f#@%kn Crüe,” said Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman.

Rock icons Mötley Crüe recently returned to the charts with Saints of Los Angeles, their first new studio album with the original line-up — Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil — in over a decade and the ninth studio album in their career. Based on the band’s New York Times bestseller The Dirt, the disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard’s top 200 at #4.
