Juvenile – Tha G-Code

Juvenile
Artist: Juvenile
Title: Tha G-Code
Label: Cash Money
Rating: 6.5/10

If you don’t know Juvenile, you haven’t been in the game long. The cornerstone of the Cash Money crew, Juvenile holds the style and lyrical arsenal that leaves others behind. “U Understand” brings the album off nice. The beats are hotter than ever.

The Hot Boys show up on “A Million And One Things”. The fire is lit, but it’s Juvenile and Lil Wayne that shine brightest. The vibe is funky, bringing the ’70’s into the 2K. “Take Them 5″ is another jive hip-hop track, but “G-Code” will flip that scene. The color goes from blue to black.

“Get It Right” finds Lil Wayne stealing the show again. Big Tymers, B.G., and Turk jump on for the ride as Juvenile tears it up on “Never Had Shit”. The words hit the pavement while the beats break it apart. “Tha Man” is as passionate as Tupac’s “Dear Mama”.

Juvenile doesn’t leave you hanging. “Guerrilla” solves Tha G-Code and is the album’s grand exit. Once again, Cash Money has raised the bar.
