German native Sarah Connor admits that there are three ‘S’s which dominate her life – soul, sex, and sensuality. It’s these three ingredients that she blends perfectly to create her unique musical sound. Sarah began singing is a local gospel choir at age six, and in her teens she attended music school where she had classical voice training. But it was an appearance with Michael Jackson when she was 17 that convinced the talented teenager that her future lay in music. “I got picked from my school to perform alongside Michael Jackson when he performed at a huge concert in Germany, and it was such an incredible experience. I loved it, and knew for sure then that singing was what I wanted to do. I wanted people to come see my concerts one day. So I set my sights on getting my music out there and getting a record deal.”
Sarah grew up listening to James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. Those influences lead her to record the music she loves – new soul, r&b, and hip-hop. Sarah’s “green-eyed soul” has earned her platinum album status in Germany, Switzerland, and Finland – and gold status in Austria, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.
“Bounce” is the first single from Sarah Connor’s self titled debut U.S. album. One listen will tell you that this is the PERFECT Pop radio single.
