Look: The graphics are good, not great. They can get choppy, but the saving grace is how different everything really is. The costumes and boards look fantastic. The insane tricks look great but there is really some drawbacks to the back grounds and other parts of the animation that can’t keep up to the action.
Feel: This is snowboarding at its most exciting. The challenges are tests of your ability to master tricks, flips, and more. Then there are the bad guys that you must overcome like cow bombs, jumping snow plows, and all sorts of bizarre things. The game is fast paced and really keeps the heart pumping. Even without the challenges its just fun to cruise down the mountain, knock out some snowmen and piss off skiers.
Hear: Great music and great sound effects.
Frankly: You haven’t played a game like Dark Summit before and you won’t regret picking this up. Multiplayer isn’t all that great. The problem is once you figure this one out its over pretty quickly. Even so you still might find yourself coming back if havoc is in your blood.
