Junior Senior

Already generating a major global buzz, Junior Senior has been topping the UK charts with their smash debut single, “Move Your Feet.” The song spent nine weeks in the top ten on the Official UK Singles Chart, including six weeks in the top five, and recently acheived silver status (for sales of over 200,000 copies). The track is the first single from their debut album, “D-D-DON’T DON’T STOP THE BEAT.”
Formed in 1998 by Jesper Mortensen (Junior) and Jeppe Laursen (Senior), the band originally hails from rural Jutland, on Denmark’s western peninsula. Launched by Danish indie label Crunchy Frog (also home to the likes of the Raveonettes), Junior Senior has quickly built a devoted fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic. Blending rock, Motown, new wave, and hip-hop influences with a punky, dance beat, their sound is undeniably infectious and their live show completely exhilarating.
