Jaheim – Still Ghetto

Jaheim
Artist: Jaheim
Title: Still Ghetto
Label: Warner Bros.
Rating: 6.5/10

Jaheim lit it up with Ghetto Love. His silky smooth style is right back on target with Still Ghetto.

Ghetto Fabulous:
“Fabulous” – Jaheim has it.
“Put That Woman First” – There is something about his style that continues to win your heart over.
“Still Ghetto”

Suburbia Lovely:
“Backtight” – Standing up for his woman.
“Everywhere I Am”
“Diamond In Or Ruff” and “Let’s Talk About It” – Jaheim sounds mature and strong in this tender piece.

Country Stink:
“Tight Jeans” – Weak.
“Beauty And Thug” – Even though the track features Mary J. Blige it doesn’t work at all. The verses are weak and the verse isn’t much better.

Jaheim has a knack for touching and lovely songs. It just seems like sixteen tracks were about six tracks too many. There also seems to be a big gapping hole where a faster song could have resided. Most of these tracks are ballads, which is fine but not when each track is similar.
